We don't publish a quote calculator on this page because a torsion spring job and a full door-and-track replacement don't cost the same thing, and guessing on the phone before we've seen the door does nobody any favors. What we can tell you on the call is whether your symptom points to a cheap fix or a job that's going to need parts ordered.
Most of the homes we get called to here were built somewhere between 1938 and 2001, with a lot of that stock going up in the 1960s and 70s across the older sections of town. That matters on the phone, a door from that era often runs on hardware nobody stocks new anymore, so part of the first call is figuring out if we're repairing what's there or telling you it's time to replace it.
Work We Turn Down
We work on residential garage doors, springs, openers, tracks, cables, rollers, and panels. That's the job. We don't do commercial overhead doors or fabrication work, and if a call turns out to be one of those, we'll say so up front rather than send a truck out to figure that out on your driveway.
Here's the honest limitation: if a door is old enough and rusted or racked badly enough that a repair would just fail again in a season, we're going to tell you replacement is the better spend, even though a repair is the easier sale for us. Given how much of the housing stock here dates back to the 1960s and 70s, that conversation comes up often enough that it's worth saying plainly instead of letting you find out after paying for a patch job.
We also won't quote a job sight unseen over the phone if the symptoms don't add up to one clear cause, a door that's slow to open, drifting off track, and making a new noise all at once usually means more than one thing is wrong, and guessing at that on the phone wastes your money and our time.
